The majority of Massachusetts dentists turn to the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) for guidance, education, and focused advocacy. When you join the MDS, you are part of a tripartite membership structure, which includes membership at all three levels of your professional association, national with the American Dental Society (ADA), state with the MDS, and the local District Dental Society. The MDS consists of fourteen local district dental societies.
The Massachusetts Dental Society is composed of 14 District Dental Societies that cover the geography of the state. Membership to a District Dental Society is based on practice location. Each District has its own Executive Board and offers continuing education and local social programs to help advance the careers and foster camaraderie among its members.
