Increasing Access to Care
The MDS Foundation works to increase access to care for Massachusetts residents and raise awareness about oral health topics. The Foundation is the charitable arm of the Massachusetts Dental Society and is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
MDS Foundation Mission of Mercy
A no-cost dental clinic held on November 15, 2025, at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, which donated more than $200,000 in oral health care to underserved and underinsured adults.
Silent Auction Fundraiser
The MDS Foundation is sponsoring a silent auction at the 2026 Yankee Dental Congress. See the list of items before you go and visit booth #1635 on Thurs., Jan. 29, or Fri., Jan. 30, to bid. Proceeds benefit the Foundation's access to care initiatives.
Foundation Awards 2025 Grants
The MDS Foundation recently awarded over $100,000 in grants. The annual Access to Care grants support programs that provide increased access to oral health care and education to underserved communities across Massachusetts.
Foundation Targeted Grants
The MDS Foundation offers $2,000 Targeted Grants on a rotating basis throughout the year. Targeted Grants provide funding to organizations or programs that want to increase access to dental care on a smaller scale.
